Wyo. small biz conference is secret everyone is talking about

Annual event teaches ins and outs of gov’t contracting

February 4, 2014

Calling all Wyoming small business owners and entrepreneurs. Wyoming’s go-to annual event for learning about government contracting and different methods of business management is right around the corner. Come join U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., at the 2014 Government Resources and Opportunities for Business (GRO-Biz) Conference and Idea Expo. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new small business owner, put February 18-20 on your calendar, and make your way to the Little America Hotel in Cheyenne. Government contracting could be the competitive edge you need to expand your business sales.

“This conference is a great way to diversify your business and learn how to market and sell your services and products in a multi-billion dollar federal government market,” said Enzi. “Wyoming has a leg up on the competition from our history of doing more with less. This is a great a great selling point when contracting with any level of government, especially when Washington should be looking for ways to save money and cut back.”

Representatives from federal and state government agencies will be in attendance this year and past conferences have led to a number of successful business partnerships.

The 2014 GRO-Biz Conference and Idea Expo’s partners include: Wyoming Governor Matt Mead, the U.S. Small Business Administration, Wyoming Entrepreneur (includes Small Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, and Market Research Center), Wyoming Business Council, and the University of Wyoming.
