U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., issued a statement today in support of the March for Life taking place in Washington, D.C. Enzi praised participants for their willingness to publicly stand up for the sanctity of life.

“Every year thousands of folks from across the country gather together in Washington to show their support for the preservation of life,” Enzi said. “This is an issue that is very near and dear to my heart. Diana and I raised two daughters and a son and we couldn’t be more grateful for their presence in our lives. Every one of us has something unique to offer that only he or she can do. It is important that we remind the world that if we deny anyone that opportunity we are losing forever the gifts they were created to share.”
