Champion of Play

The 2017 Champion of Play Award is presented by the Toy Association for dedication to education. It is a bipartisan award with one Democrat and one Republican receiving it each year.

Presented by the American Horse Council to a member of Congress who has been a great supporter of the horse industry. 

Safety Recognition Award

This award was presented by the Office of Compliance for maintaining a hazard-free workplace for employees and visitors during the 114th Congress. 

 

2016

Award for Conservative Excellence

Awarded by the American Conservative Union for commitment to America’s foundational principals and the U.S. Constitution, and in recognition of Senator Enzi’s American Conservative Union Congressional rating of 88%. 

Champion for the 50-Plus Legislative Leadership Award

Awarded by AARP for leadership in preserving seniors’ access to healthcare. This award recognizes legislators who sponsor legislation, actively work to move legislation, and advocate in the public forum on issues relevant to Americans over 50. 

Champion of Adult Education

Given by the Commission on Adult Basic Education for Senator Enzi’s work as a champion of adult education. 

Champion of Healthcare Innovation

Given by the Healthcare Leadership Council to members of Congress who exhibit on-going support of patient-centered medical progress. 

Fiscal Hero Award

Given by the Campaign to Fix the Debt to members of Congress who work to improve the nation's fiscal situation through fiscally responsible votes, participating in fiscally focused events, and pushing their party leaders to make debt a priority. 

Guardian of Small Business

Awarded by the National Federation of Independent Business to lawmakers whose work reflects support and advocacy for the small business community during the previous legislative session. 

Job Corps Champion Award

This is awarded by the Wind River Job Corps Center for Senator Enzi’s support of said center. 

Supporter Award for the 113th Congress

Given by the American Motorcyclist Association for efforts supporting motorcyclists’ rights. The AMA mission is to promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling. 

Thomas Jefferson Award

Common Sense Award

Given by the American Knife and Tool Institute for Senator Enzi’s leadership on behalf of lawful knife owners in Wyoming and across the nation. The award also honors members of Congress who have worked across party lines to further common sense legislation. 

Congressional Leaders in Cancer Prevention

Awarded by the Prevent Cancer Foundation to dedicated public servants who reflect a commitment to cancer prevention and early detection through a special campaign or event, influence public policy, improve access to screening and treatment, and encourage healthy lifestyle choices. 

Distinguished Community Health Advocate

Awarded by the National Association of Community Health Centers in appreciation of Senator Enzi’s service during the second session of the 113th Congress, and his support of America’s health centers and the millions of people they serve. 

Early Learning Ventures Recognition

Awarded by Early Learning Ventures in recognition for Senator Enzi’s leadership to reauthorize child care and development block grants. 

Friends of the Footwear Industry Award

Awarded by the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America for Senator and Diana Enzi’s exceptional public service and efforts in lowering footwear costs for American consumers. 

Master Scholar, University of Denver

The award commemorates the achievements of former graduates of the college. Senator Enzi received his MSBA in 1968 and has since went on to achieve great things that the university wished to recognize him for. 

National Association of Community Health Centers Appreciation Award

Awarded by the National Association of Community Health Centers for Senator Enzi’s outstanding support of Community Health Centers and participation in their 2015 40th Anniversary Honorary Committee. 

National Association of Community Health Centers Award

Awarded to Senator Enzi for his outstanding support of Community Health Centers and participation in their 50th Anniversary Honorary Committee. 

Public Policy Award

Given by the Marshall Legacy Institute to honor leaders who efforts have helped war-torn countries. The organization is focused on the injuries that are caused or can potentially be caused by landmines in nations throughout the world. This was awarded to Senator Enzi in recognition of his efforts to try and make the world a better and safer place. 

Ride for the Brand

Awarded to Senator Enzi by the Wyoming National Guard in recognition of his work in support of the military in Wyoming, and throughout the United States. Senator Enzi “rides for the brand” of Wyoming, and represents the interests of the guard at the national level in Congress. 

Spirit of Enterprise Award

Given by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support of pro-growth, pro-jobs policies. The award is given annually to members of Congress based on their votes on critical business legislation.

Distinguished Community Health Advocate

Awarded by the National Association of Community Health Centers in appreciation of Senator Enzi’s service during the first session of the 113th Congress, and his commitment to improving access to virtual primary health care services for America’s uninsured and medically underserved. 

Good Scout Award

Presented to Senator Enzi by the National Capital Area Council and Boy Scouts of America in recognition of his service in supporting scouting opportunities for local youth.

Awarded by the National Federation of Independent Business to lawmakers whose work reflects support and advocacy for the small business community during the previous legislative session.

Awarded by the National Retail Foundation to members of Congress for their support of retail industry priorities such as international trade, patent reform, health care, tax reform, and workforce policies that work for both employees and employers. 

National Mining Association Award

Given to Senator Enzi in recognition of his leadership and conviction in the effort to keep electricity affordable for all Americans. 

Remarkable Journey Award

Given to Senator Enzi by the Green Door Organization, which serves people in the Washington, D.C. area struggling with mental health issues. Through clinical treatment and support services, people receive the care they need to help them live, work and thrive in the community. 

Representing marketplace Fairness Act Award

Given on behalf of the World Floor Covering Association in thanks of Senator Enzi’s support of the Marketplace Fairness Act and the “brick and mortar” stores it represents. 

Small Investor Empowerment Award

From the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the award was established on behalf of those people who invest in, are employed by, or derive benefit from real estate investment trusts (REITs) and publicly traded real estate companies to recognize those public servants who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the ideals of free enterprise, economic growth, personal freedom and unlimited opportunity for all Americans. 

Thomas Jefferson Award

This award is given by the National Conference of State Legislatures to members of Congress and the administration who have worked to restore, protect, and advance the standing of the states in the federal system. 

Senator Jennings Randolph Lifetime Achievement Award

The Senator Jennings Randolph Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded by the Washington Coal Club. The award recognizes individuals who have proven a lifelong dedication to the utilization of coal as a reliable and secure national energy resource. 

 

2012

Appreciation "Outlaw" Award

Given by the Wyoming Air Force Association Cowboy Chapter 357. This chapter includes members from F. E. Warren AFB, home of the Mighty Ninety and the Wyoming Air National Guard with its 153rd Airlift Wing. 

Congressional Science Award

The Institute of Food Technologies gives this award to one Democrat and one Republican in Congress each year, for use of scientific data and research to determine the best route for policy. This award is for the passage of the FDA User-Fee bill, headed by Senator Enzi, Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee. 

Dedication and Support of Impact Aid and the Children of Wyoming

Awarded by Wyoming Indian Schools in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. Wyoming Indian Schools combines Native American traditional and cultural values with modern educational outcomes to prepare the youth of the Wind River Indian Reservation to function in an increasingly complex and technological society. 

Guardian of Small Business

Connie Mack Award

Given by the Alliance for Aging Research to Senator Enzi for his advancement of biomedical research throughout a long and distinguished career in public service. 

Defender of Children

Awarded by the First Focus Campaign for Children, this award is given to members of Congress for their support of policies that advance the well-being of children. 

Friend of Education Award

Given to Senator Enzi by the Association of American Publishers. The AAP represents the publishing industry’s legislative, regulatory, and trade priorities regionally, nationally and worldwide. 

Golden Triangle Award

Awarded by the National Farmers Union in recognition of outstanding support and dedication to family farm agriculture. 

Justice for All Disability Rights Award

Given by the American Association of People with Disabilities to members of Congress who work to promote bipartisan legislation and policy which will further the ability of people with disabilities to live independently, contribute to society, pursue meaningful careers and enjoy self-determination.

The PTA Congressional Voice for Children Award is given by the national PTA to members of Congress in recognition of outstanding leadership related to child and education advocacy.

Given by the National Bison Association for work towards proper stewardship of the Bison species, the integrity of Bison products, and the success of Bison producers. 

Friend of the Farm Bureau

Awarded by the Wyoming Farm Bureau at the end of each Congress to members who worked to support agriculture and rural Wyoming. 

Guardian of Small Business

Awarded by the National Federation of Independent Business to lawmakers whose work reflects support and advocacy for the small business community during the previous legislative session. 

Impact Aid Award

Awarded to Senator Enzi from Fremont County School #14.

Awarded to Senator Enzi by the Campaign for Mental Health Reform. The Campaign for Mental Health Reform is a collaboration of mental health organizations working with federal policymakers to make the transformation of the United States’ mental health care system a national priority.

Awarded by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society in recognition of Congressional leaders and state legislators who have made significant contributions to the advancement of health IT to improve healthcare. 

Glass Award

Given to Senator Enzi by Wyoming Honor Flight. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for their sacrifices. They transport veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.

Given by Printing Industries of America in recognition and honor of leaders who have made lasting contributions to advancing the printing and graphic communications industries. 

Bravo! Entrepreneur Lifetime Achievement Award

Given by the Wyoming Business Report, the award celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship by honoring regional business leaders who have had a positive economic and cultural impact on Wyoming communities. 

Community Health Center Champion Award

The award recognizes members of Congress who have championed wider access to primary care, and whose initiatives and leadership have served to sustain and strengthen public investment in Community Health Centers. The award is given by the National Association of Community Health Centers. 

Congressional Award

Given by the National Breast Cancer Coalition in recognition of Senator Enzi’s legislative support. The coalition is a grassroots advocacy organization that seeks to improve public policies surrounding breast cancer research, diagnosis and treatment. 

Congressional Honors Recipient

Awarded to Senator Enzi by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for his work to further blood cancer research and awareness. The award is the society’s top recognition for lawmakers and is given to one senator and one representative each year. 

Distinguished Service Award

From the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation for Senator Enzi’s support. The council aims to maintain and enhance a strong national program of public vocational rehabilitation which empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve employment, economic self-sufficiency, independence, inclusion and integration into our communities. 

Friend of the Shareholder Award

Given by the American Shareholders Association for Senator’s Enzi’s support. The association has since dissolved, however it was an association advocating for the interests of its members, with a specific focus on internet tax elimination reform. 

Guardian of Small Business

Awarded by the National Federation of Independent Business to lawmakers whose work reflects support and advocacy for the small business community during the previous legislative session. 

Guardian of Worker Freedom

The Alliance for Worker Freedom organization presents the award to members of the U.S. Senate who vote in favor of worker’s rights, and free and open labor markets on a majority of the national policy issues.

Awarded by AARP in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. 

Mental Health Parity Recognition

Given by the Association for Behavioral Health and Wellness in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. The ABHW is the national voice for companies that manage behavioral health and wellness services. 

Mental Health Parity Recognition

Given by the Wyoming Psychological Association in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. The WPA pursues a mutually supportive, strong community of psychologists and other healthcare providers who work together to enhance the quality of life for all people living in the State. 

NAM Manufacturing Legislative Excellence

Given by the National Association of Manufacturers in recognition of Senator Enzi’s legislative support in striving for a pro-business, pro-growth economy. 

NARSAD Paul Wellstone Award

Given to Senator Enzi by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, which funds research on all brain diseases, including Alzheimer's, and destigmatizing brain disorders such as schizophrenia. 

Parity NOW Coalition Award

Awarded to Senator Enzi on behalf of the Ad Hoc Coalition on Mental Health Policy, the Parity NOW Coalition, and the Mental Health Liaison Group. The Mental Health Liaison Group is an advocacy coalition on mental health issues, and most of its activity is conducted at the committee level.

Given by the National Taxpayers Union to members of Congress who consistently vote to promote economic freedom and reduce the burden of the American taxpayer.

Awarded by Friends of Cancer Research, this award honors those who have been champions for cancer research and steadfast advocates for patients.

Awarded by the National Jump$tart Coalition in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. The coalition consists of financial education stakeholders that educate and prepare our nation's youth for life-long financial success. 

Patient Congress Award

Awarded to Senator Enzi for his work with the Patient Advocate Foundation. The foundation provides patients with arbitration, mediation and negotiation to settle issues with access to care, medical debt, and job retention related to their illness. 

Public Affairs Leadership Award

Given by the March of Dimes Foundation in recognition of outstanding work on behalf of infants, children and their families. 

Stars of Education Award

Awarded by the Career Technical Education Consortium to those who demonstrate leadership, vision and dedication to Career Technical Education, and have made significant contributions to the practice and expansion of Career Technical Education.

Wyoming Agricultural Hall of Fame

Wyoming Livestock Roundup recognizing Senator Enzi’s admittance into the Wyoming Agricultural Hall of Fame. 

  

2006

Celebration on the Hill

Awarded to Senator Enzi in recognition of his attendance at the Celebration on the Hill event in support of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. 

Congressional Award

Given by the Small Business Council of America in recognition of Senator Enzi’s support. The SBCA represents the interests of privately-held and family-owned organizations on federal tax, employee benefit and health care matters 

Congressional Care and Treatment Award

Awarded to members of Congress in recognition of their support for those affected by the AIDS disease. The AIDS Institute is a national nonprofit organization that promotes action for social change through public policy research, advocacy and education. 

Conservation Community Section 1206 Award

Awarded in appreciation of Senator Enzi’s help in the expansion of tax incentives for donations and enacting programs that will provide fair treatment for ranchers and other private landowners. 

Conservation Community Thank You Award

Given to the senator as a thank you for his efforts in the conservation of America’s landscape. The Conservation Community is committed to saving large parcels of land from ecological degradation. 

Distinguished Alumni Award

Recognizes Senator Enzi as a distinguished alumni of George Washington University. 

Foundation of Freedom Award

Given by the Mason Contractors Association, honoring Senator Enzi’s commitment to the preservation of their basic liberties and service to the nation. 

Free Enterprise Legislator of the Year Award

Given by the Association of Builders and Contractors, this award is presented to an elected official whose service to the public supports the principles of full and open competition and support for the free market system.
