Washington, D.C. – "While many members of Congress talk about reducing the size of government, Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., backed up those words with votes. By consistently voting

to reduce federal spending, taxes, and debt Mike Enzi has truly earned the title, 'Taxpayers' Friend," said John Berthoud, president of the 335,000-member National Taxpayers Union (NTU) that honored Enzi with the 'Taxpayers Friend' award recently. "This award proves that he is a consistent and effective ally in our battle to restore fiscal responsibility in Washington," commented NTU Vice-President Al Cors.

The NTU is a national organization dedicated to lowering taxes, wasteful spending, and increasing government accountability at all levels. For more details on the organizations vote scoring please visit www.ntu.org.
