Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., plans to visit with community members and tour local businesses in Fremont County this Wednesday and Thursday. Enzi’s schedule is included below.
Lander, Fort Washakie: Wed., Sept. 3
Enzi is scheduled to speak at the Lander Rotary Club’s weekly luncheon at 12 p.m. at Oxbow Restaurant (170 W. Main). All Rotarians are invited to attend.
Afterward, Enzi plans to tour Ancient Ways, LLC, which features authentic Indian artwork made by local artists on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
Riverton: Thurs., Sept. 4
At 10 a.m., Enzi plans to present Wyoming.com with a $622,447 USDA Rural Development Community Connect grant to bring broadband Internet service to Atlantic City. As part of the grant, Wyoming.com will provide Atlantic City with a bank of public computers that will include wireless Internet service free of charge for two years. The award presentation will be hosted at the Riverton Rural Development office (508 N. Broadway).
Enzi is also scheduled to tour Star Tech Corporation, a local metal and plastic product manufacturer.
At 12 p.m., Enzi plans to speak at the Riverton Kiwanis Club’s weekly luncheon at Golden Corral (400 N. Federal). Guests are welcome to attend.
