Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging young people to apply for the last remaining spring internship positions in his Washington, D.C. office.

"This is an historical time in our nation," said Enzi. "Following on the heels of such an important election our nation faces many unique opportunities," Enzi said. "Internships in my office allow a first hand view of the inner workings of our legislative system. If there ever was a time to take advantage of such an opportunity, it would be now. "

Interns are responsible for a wide range of jobs including constituent services, media activities and research for Enzi on various issues.

Spring internships begin January 10, 2005 and end May 20, 2005. Applications should be turned in as soon as possible.

Individuals interested in a spring internship in Washington, D.C. should contact Reagen Bebout, Enzi's Intern Coordinator, at 202-224-3424 or 888-250-1879. The application is accessible online at enzi.senate.gov and can be faxed to 202-228-0359.
