Enzi announces August constituent photo contest

Senator calls for photos showcasing the state

August 6, 2010

Washington, D.C. – From coal mines to Devils Tower and the state fair to a whiskey distillery, U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo, will be travelling the great state of Wyoming this August during the Congressional home work period. While he is taking in the sites and meeting with constituents from corner to corner, he wants residents to send him their best “Wyoming” image for his August photo contest.

“I will be logging thousands of miles this month travelling all over the beautiful state of Wyoming. I want to give residents an opportunity to send me their best Wyoming image and show me the state from their perspective,” Enzi said. “I look forward to reviewing the submissions and am excited to offer one resident the opportunity to have their Wyoming photo featured prominently on my Web site.”

Constituents have until Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. MST to submit their best “Wyoming” photo for “Enzi’s August Photo Contest.” The top picks will then be displayed on Enzi’s Facebook page where his Facebook supporters can vote for their favorite photo. The winner’s photo will be featured on the banner of his Web site (enzi.senate.gov) and will also be posted to his Facebook page (facebook.com/mikeenzi).

Enzi is looking for photos that display the best Wyoming has to offer. Residents can submit photos of anything from scenery to events and people to animals.
