Washington, D.C. – Anne Hedderman of Powell recently became the newest addition to the office of Senator Mike Enzi with her appointment as staff assistant.
Hedderman, a 2000 graduate of Powell High School, greets constituents, writes letters, and processes flag requests while coordinating meeting times for the Senator’s conference room. In mid-April, she will start coordinating tours and intern projects.
“It has been interesting to be in the unique atmosphere of D.C. I have learned a lot about the workings of Congress and the process of democracy. I am enjoying living in such a dynamic city while still serving the state of Wyoming,” said Hedderman.
Hedderman, daughter of Larry and Gloria Hedderman of Powell, graduated from the University of Wyoming in December 2004 and received a bachelors degree in history.
“Anne’s extensive knowledge and her personable presence are a true Wyoming quality that all of our visitors can relate to and appreciate while visiting their nation’s capitol,” said Enzi.
