Today U.S. Senator Mike Enzi encouraged the agency in charge of reviewing federal regulations to explore the benefits of Canada’s policy of eliminating one regulation for every new measure adopted. Speaking to the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Howard Shelanksi, at a Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, Enzi hoped that a new one-for-one policy on any new regulations would help minimize the growth of red tape on businesses across the country.
