With Monday, March 23, marking the fifth anniversary of Obamacare becoming law, U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., issued the following statement.
“On the fifth anniversary of Obamacare we are left with a broken law that has too many Americans paying higher health care costs for less care. We are left with a law that has created more government, more bureaucracy and more red tape that is costing American jobs and hurting our economy. We are left with a law full of President Obama’s broken promises.
“There are better ideas, there are better solutions, and there are better ways forward. As Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee I have worked with my colleagues to present a budget plan that relies on repeal and replacement of Obamacare. It’s time that we put in place real health care reform that relies on common sense solutions to lower health care costs and increase care for all Americans.”
