Enzi continues effort to protect small business from tax increase
Washington, D.C. –U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., encouraged his colleagues to join with him and Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee Ranking Member Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, in eliminating a proposed 15 percent tax increase on some small businesses.
Enzi spoke on the Senate floor today about an amendment he and Snowe have authored that would strike a section of H.R. 4213, the American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act of 2010, otherwise known as the “tax extenders” bill.  The section in question would impose a 15.3 percent payroll tax on some S Corporations.
