Washington, D.C. – Rawlins resident Ryan Taylor moved up in the ranks of U.S. Senator Mike Enzi’s staff recently with his promotion to be the Communications Assistant for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee which Enzi chairs.
Taylor, a former intern for U.S. Senator Craig Thomas and staff assistant for Enzi, will be assisting with matters relating to the media for the HELP Committee.
"The chance to work for one of the nation's greatest leaders and the state of Wyoming is not only an honor, it is the opportunity of a lifetime,” said Taylor.
Taylor, son of Rod and Robyn Taylor of Rawlins, graduated from Rawlins High School in 1998 and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wyoming in 2004. Taylor was a staff assistant in Enzi’s office from November 2004 until his recent promotion in February 2005.
“Ryan has always been an outstanding employee and I knew he would carry that over to the committee,” said Enzi. “He has been a welcome addition to the HELP staff.”
Taylor was recently elected as the Wyoming State Society Vice-President and will serve a one year term coordinating events for Wyoming residents in the nation’s capital.
