Washington, D.C. – Rapid City resident Sarah Simpson recently became the newest addition to the office of Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., with her appointment as research assistant.

Simpson researches constituent concerns and issues related to technology and telecommunications, budget, taxes, transportation, banking, stock options, accounting, housing, and postal reform.

“It’s a privilege to work for such an outstanding senator who brings a sense of Western values and ethics to Washington, D.C. Joining the dedicated people of Team Enzi requires hard work, and I look forward to contributing to the team,” said Simpson.

Simpson, daughter of Paul and Terri Simpson of Rapid City, graduated from Stevens High School in 1999 and went on to earn a bachelors degree in communication from the University of Wyoming in 2003.

Previous to joining Enzi’s staff, Simpson worked as the marketing coordinator for Fountain Springs Community in Rapid City and coordinated events in Western South Dakota for the 2004 John Thune for U.S. Senate campaign.

“I knew Sarah’s extensive experience would help her be a beneficial asset to our team,” said Enzi. “With Sarah’s knowledge and experience she will be able to serve the people of Wyoming well.”
